Offered to the market with no onward chain, Your Move in Canterbury proudly offer this excellent two bedroom end of terraced home to the market. An ideal first purchase, or perhaps a purchase for investment, the accommodation starts with an entrance porch that opens into a well proportioned lounge/dining room that runs the full length of the property and gives access to a kitchen with fitted range cooker and a wonderful conservatory. To the first floor there is a master bedroom with fitted bedroom furniture, a second bedroom and a bathroom with a white three piece suite. The gardens to both the front and rear are of a low maintenance style, being mainly laid to patio. The rear garden extends out wider than the rest of the plot and incorporates a large detached timber outbuilding which is sectioned into two rooms and features plumbing, light and power. There is a driveway for off road parking and other benefits include central heating and double glazing. We strongly recommend a viewing and at your very earliest opportunity.

Location

The property is located on Coniston Drive in Aylesham, a village located approximately ten miles from the historic city of Canterbury. Aylesham is a much younger location to its ancient neighbour. The village was established in 1926 and was once associated with the coal mining industry. These days, Aylesham has become a focus for expansion and most recently, the Aylesham Welfare Leisure Centre was opened to provide sports, social and conference facilities to the village residents. In addition to this fantastic new facility, the village features an array of shops including a Co-operative convenience store, Boots pharmacy, post office, florists and fishing tackle shop as well as takeaway food outlets. There are two primary schools in the village. The village is accessed by car via the B2046 Adisham Road which can be found off of the A2, a road that links Dover to London, as well as Canterbury. Aylesham has a train station that also gives access back into Canterbury and onto London. The village is surrounded by the wonderful Kent countryside and there are plenty of walks to take to unwind from the stresses of work etc. Aylesham also offers superb value for money when it comes to property prices and we certainly recommend Aylesham for its amenities, broader environment and links back to Canterbury and beyond.

Our View

This is a great opportunity. The addition of a conservatory to the rear increases the floor space considerably and is certainly going to prove very useful. The lounge/dining room is already an adequate space but the conservatory will always make an ideal occasional room or a larger alternative dining room. The kitchen is of a galley style and the vendors were conscious of the need to have as much cupboard space as possible. But this would normally mean compromising on space for appliances and with the vendors not wanting to have a washing machine or freezer in their conservatory, the addition of the timber outbuilding was created. Split into two rooms, one room serves as a utility style area with plumbing, light and power (including a sink and drainer fixed to a base cupboard) whilst the other room has part glazed French doors opening to the garden, making a very nice garden room. Both rooms have been insulated, dry lined and have windows. Both bedrooms are well proportioned and the fitted furniture to the master bedroom will always prove useful. The gardens are both laid to paved patios for low maintenance and the rear garden would make a great place for summer entertaining. Parking is always a welcome feature and overall the property seems well maintained and ready to move into. This is a must view home if your are a first time buyer or buying for investment so contact the office at your earliest opportunity to arrange your viewing.
