Full description:

It’s not often that you can describe a modern house as having character, in the case of this home it is hard not to describe it as having bags of character, for with 3 pitched dormers and leaded windows it has the feel of a country cottage, almost quirky.

The countryside surrounding the village of Old Wives Lees is quite stunning and you have access to the North Downs Way and the Stour Way, which could take you into Canterbury should you wish, in fact you could walk everywhere without the need of a car. Perry Woods at Selling are a well kept secret with walks that take you up to an amazing vantage point with views across the valley, and the best part, a welcoming pub at the end to have a drink in.

The home is in excellent condition and has the overriding feel of light and space, the lounge is a comfortable place to be in overlooking the garden through the patio doors. The kitchen takes in the same views and has a real cottage feel with its oak work tops and buttermilk cupboard doors.

The ground floor has a dining room for the more formal occasions or perhaps it could be a bedroom if required as there is also a wet room that has recently been fitted. The decoration of the home is superb and apart from maybe making your own mark, you could move straight in without having to do a thing.

What the Owner says:

We have loved being here and exploring the countryside walking. The house has been a great place to live and the neighbours are lovely. The garden in the summer is amazing and our grandchildren have loved running around in the woods at Selling.

We will really miss living here and we wouldn’t be leaving if it wasn’t that we want to be closer to our children and grandchildren.

We really hope that the next people enjoy living here as much as we did.
